Items we cannot take
Every one of these has a reason behind it - a licence we do not hold, equipment we do not carry, or a risk to the next customer. Telling you now is better than a team turning up and leaving your item where it is.

- Medical wasteRequires a licensed medical waste handler.
- Loose household trashWe take whole large items, not bagged or loose refuse.
- PianosSpecialty rigging equipment required.
- Pool tablesSlate beds need a specialist crew.

Soiled is fine. Infested is not.
These two get confused, so it is worth being clear. A stained or soiled mattress is a normal pickup for us - our teams carry bags and handle those properly, including mattresses a retail delivery crew refused on condition grounds.
Bedbugs are different. An infested mattress or sofa contaminates the truck and every pickup after yours, which is why it is a refusal at any price. If you are unsure which you have, send a photo when you book and we will tell you straight.
Where these items should go instead
Paint, solvents, pesticides, motor oil and similar household chemicals are accepted at county household hazardous waste events - check your county's waste department for dates and drop-off locations. Propane cylinders can usually be exchanged or returned where you bought them.
Construction and demolition debris needs a debris-box service. Pianos, pool tables, safes and hot tubs need a specialty mover with rigging equipment; a general furniture crew attempting one is how people get hurt.
